Houston we have a problem.
After facing the east for so long, Halliburton "The Grease" is moving its corporate HQ to the lovely city Dubai (Do Buy) in the United Arab Emirates. One source was quoted as saying "Red rover, red rover, buy the ports, do over". It's not clear what tax savings the move will have. The comptroler of Houston said "I feel like I've been shot in the face by my friend, again". Also, will the stock become an ADS? One trader said "I'd like to buy a vowel", and then went on to solve the puzzle, "I think it should save a lot of time and money transporting all that stuff (oil) from the middle east to Texas, and back again to Iraq, and since they're on a fixed no bid contact, it must be a real win win". The stock closed up six hundred. |
